Sitting in a room at Urgent Care for an hour and STILL no doctor has been in yet!!! There is one other person that checked in after us and that is all thats here!!!!!!
Although my experience with this facility is limited at this point, I would like to formally thank Physician, Dr. D. Nackley who although exceptionally busy in his department, has taken the time to guide me through a barrier. Dr. Nackley treated me with the utmost respect during this trying time. Although I have taken the time to thank him via phone, using social media offers an opportunity to express my appreciation in a manner for which other patients will recognize... Thank You Dr. Nackly.
I showed up 20 minutes early for out patient surgery. They actually brought me in early. The nurses and the doctor were personable and treated me with great respect. I am very glad that I have started going to the Van Zandt VA.
I had my first ever appointment (physical) at Altoona VA. I was very pleased with cleanliness ,promptness, friendliness and competency of the staff. Thank You.
This hospital is a joke, took them 3 MONTHS to do anything to help my wife and by that time I took her to a civilian doctor who couldn't believe they let her go that long, contacted our congressman for help and they told him we were lying. Ok Altoona VA, go ahead and play your game. No wonder Vets lose their minds
The best hospital I ever had stayed at, top notch care and the best respect you could want. They care about you. I have used this VA sense 1996. Thank you to all the Doctors and nurses who took care of me every time I had to be there, God Bless each one of you.
I have always received prompt immediate care when I have come here. The staff is more than friendly. Vets are first.
Urgent care unit is understaffed. So unacceptable..
They're a lot better than before but the pharmacy still has a lot to be desired. The staff are not too friendly in the pharmacy, but all in all, I like it there.
