Bob Aplpplebaum and his crew were terrific. Bob is with whom it is very easy to converwe. He knows his trade and you felt conficent in tursting the job to him. No pressure on his part. Very personalble.l The cost of the job was very resaonable..
I am very happy with Bob's work. He was very responsive and called right away providing a very reasonable price. He heard my sense of urgency to remove the branches and came out the next day and did the work. I would definitely use him again and recommend him highly.
He listened to my concerns and questions and then gave us great advice. On the day the crews came in, he personally came by the house to check on them. The crew did a great job cleaning up. They returned within their stated time frame to completely grind the stump. Awesome service, we'll use them again.
Upside - contractor was thorough in evaluation & offered alternitives to my initial need. Identified a diseaseed tree that required removal. Price was competitive. Good job removing trees and stumps. Pruning job was good. Will re-evaluate whether to remove tree a few years from now. Good job on the cleanup and removal. Worst experience I have ever had! DO NOT use this company. Showed up at my house to remove a damaged tree that I had not given permission to remove. Left me a message where he stated he would be in my neighborhood on Saturday and if I didn't get back to him, I can find someone else. He then shows up on Sunday and starts cutting without permission. I told him I would give him $50 for the removal of the down branch which is 50% of what I paid the other company to remove the entire tree. I thought I was more than fair, but he t... read more
They came on Sunday in the pouring rain. Despite the weather and the tight working space, they took down the dead tree quickly and without damaging anything. Very professionsal. Surprisingly inexpensive.
Jackstraw is prompt and friendly, knows a whole lot about trees and plants, does a very professional job, gives good advice, cleans up well, specializes in smaller jobs, and has reasonable rates.
The quote was very thorough, the job done exactly as described and our yard was clean when finished. The house and yard look so much better.
They gave me an estimate to remove a tree and trim another for hundreds of dollars less than my other estimates. Jackstraw came out promptly and did an excellent job. They left my yard cleaner than when they got there, and even removed branches that were already down. I would recommend Jackstraw to my friends and family, I am very pleased with the job they did.
