I have nothing but good to say about JVH. The staff and Doctors are all very friendly and compassionate. My first experience was an emergency visit for our 4 yr old terrier mix. They took her right in, did some testing, and found her to have a severe case of Lyme disease - she was at the point where she could not even walk. They gave us the option of taking her home or leaving and we decided to take her home with medication. We have been with Jacksonville Vet for 40 years. Those years have included many dogs and cats some of whom had complicated medical issues. Jacksonville has never mislead us, has always treated us with the utmost care and concern and will continue to be our vet for as long as we have pets. I cannot recommend them more highly.
This was my first time at Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital. They took me back before my appointment time. I have been to vets in the past that would take you back 30-45 minutes after your appointment time. I also like the fact that the doctor wanted to try probiotics and antibiotics before doing other tests on my sick dog. I have been to vets before that would have pressured me to do other tests.
