RecommendedExcellent care for a total of 5 dogs over a period of 20 years.
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Dr. Burk. Our almost 10 year old dog has an enlarging neck mass and his health has been declining over the past few weeks. Dr. Burk has been incredibly thorough, honest, understanding, and helpful as we have considered how best to keep our pup comfortable. The entire office has been very kind and thoughtful. I highly recommend Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital.
We have been using this practice for out pets since they were at the old location (even before our adult children were born). They really do care about all the babies. Their diagnostic skills are particularly good as they have found rare illnesses in a couple of our pets helping them to live long healthy lives. I highly recommend them. Additionally, they treat owners with the same respect and compassion they have for the pets. 👍
I would absolutely recommend Jacksonville Veterinary Hospital ! My yorkie needed a cystotomy just before Christmas and JVH was able to get us scheduled right away! Even on Christmas Eve, they called to check in on us! The staff is extremely helpful and appointments are easily scheduled. Thank you JVH for always taking such great care of my pup!
The doctors are knowledgeable and competent in the extreme; the nurses are extremely well trained and educated; the receptionists are beyond friendly and helpful. There is nothing to dislike about this, which surely is the epitome of what a vet hospital should be.
They also have the best groomer in Maryland! Smokey and Maizey both looked fantastic after their spa day with Morgan!
