horrible experience this past week with DMH My mother broke her leg, Overnight nurse left her in a urine pan for an hour and now her doctor is rushing her home for the weekend with pins sticking out of open wounds in her leg to wait to be transferred to Springfield MONDAY. The doctor showed NO compassion and now my family will have to perform nurse's and doctor's duties. Do not take your loved ones to DMH if you care about them.

I had rotator cuff surgery at Baylis on May 26th. It was very strange not having my husband with me but COVID took care of that. But I was never alone; everyone I met at Baylis was great! Especially Dr Ambrose. He ordered medication so that I would not have post op nausea, which I am prone to, and the pain block left me pain free for 24 hours. Thank you Dr Ambrose! This hospital is absolutely vile. They have completely botched the covid response. They treat their employees like absolute garbage. They will work you 40 hours a week, keep you part time so they dont have to give you benefits. IT TOOK THEM MONTHS TO EVEN CHECK TEMPS AT THE DOOR. We didnt have enough masks BEFORE covid. My boss was a racist, and homophobic, and his boss just let it happen. My boss didnt even own a cellphone to get a hold of him. please please just let this hospital die its a stain on this entire community.
