Great job on shirts – I have purchaced a couple of nice designer's shirts online. The shirts fit me fine, except for the sleeves that needed to be altered. I brought them to Jack's, being not sure if they could do the shirts. However, he took them, and did terrific alterations, right on schedule, and now they fit me very nicely. If you have any designer's shirts which sleeves need to be altered, Jack's is the place to go! Highly recommended!

Great workmanship, Great person – Jack has done my tailoring for over 3 years, from simple hems to full suit alterations. He does top notch work and is an exceptionally nice person. Highly recommended!!

quick easy, and kind – I just went there for the first time to see if he could alter my jeans in the waist for me. He explained to me what i should have done and quickly added a clip so i could tighten them myself instead of having them cut and resewn. Simple procedure but he did it infront of me while the other place i went told me it would be a week and $25 to cut and sew. Very nice man!

Excellent service – I have used Jack numerous times to alter pants, jackets, coats, and have found all of his work to be meticulous - no problems over time with hems, etc. coming out. I would recommend Jack to anyone who wants tailoring done properly, friendly service, and reasonable costs.

Very Helpful – I had just bought a suite for my grandfathers funeral for the next day and needed an emergency hem job. Jack took it and did an amazing job in only a couple hours where everywhere else required days.

Superb Tailoring All Around – Jack is the place to go if you have serious alterations. I went from a size 34 waist down to a 29 inch waist and I was afraid I would have to purchase an entire new wardrobe. Not the case with Jack. He was able to reconstruct my pants and keep the original integrity of the shape the designer intended. If you have haute couture items that need to be altered I would trust them with Jack.

Great Tailor! – I've used quite a few tailors in the Cambridge area over the years, mostly for simple hemming and minor alterations. I really liked the way some pants I purchased at Drinkwater's were hemmed (properly double-stitched, breaks "just right"), and found out that Jack does their alterations. So when I recently dropped my waist size from 36 to 31, there was no question who was going to alter all of my pants. Jack does a phenomenal job and I highly recommend him to my friends and family.

By far the best tailor I've seen. Use this guy!! – I wish I had found Jack 10 years ago!! Jack is meticulous and professional, on top of being an all-around great guy. I think he realizes that his best business card is the quality of his work, and it shows in his attention to detail. I've taken 6 (expensive) suits to him, and all came out better than I could have expected. I wish he had time to make some bespoke suits on the side!!
