Exceptional Service – I called Jack at 10 AM to tell him I needed my pants shorted by 4 PM. Although he was very busy, he said it wouldn't be a problem. Even better, when he had a personal event come up, he called me to let me know that he had to leave, but that my pants were finished and I could pick them up now to be sure I didn't miss him later. This was really great customer service!! Jack is very friendly, as well as being a great tailor, and great person. I highly recommend him!

Shortening Shirt Sleeves – Jack uses the standard procedure for shortening shirt sleeves. First, he measured for the correct sleeve length, a half measurement of the yolk and continued down the sleeve to the nuckle of the small finger. He said he would add 1/2 inch for a new shirt to allow for shrinkage as the shirt sized itself. Second, he removed the cuff and the gauntlet and then cut the sleeve to the measured length. Go to Jack's in Porter – It is nice to find a tailor who knows you by name and whom you can trust with your favorite clothes. Jack did an excellent job reattaching some jean bottoms and altering some corduroy pants for me--both flawlessly. I highly recommend.

Jack is the best! – Jack is great - I went here based solely on the strength of these recommendations and Jack did not disappoint! He expertly tailored my designer jeans and reattached the original hems. You can't even tell they were ever tailored! I am ecstatic with the results. Jack got them back to me in less than 24 hours without me even requesting fast service, and was as friendly as could be. He is very helpful, and his price was reasonable. I highly recommend him to anyone.

Totally over rated – He does not open on time and charges twice more than other tailors. Suggest you not to waste your time here

Tailoring of Designer Jeans- GREAT JOB! – I came to Jack's to get 2 pairs of my designer jeans altered and have the bottoms reattached and I am MORE than pleased with the result! I was afraid to trust my expensive jeans to just anyone... but Jack's friendly demeanor made me feel very comfortable. He listened to my requests regarding the length I wanted the jeans, and just a couple days later my jeans were ready to be picked up. BEST DRYCLEANER/TAILOR IN THE CITY!! – Jack's is the BEST! I can't say enough about this guy. He's friendly, honest and a heck of a tailor. I send all of my special items his way. Pants, shirts, coats, sweaters and more come back BETTER than expected. How many dry cleaners can you say that about? He also has really fast turnaround; special requests are never a problem. Oh, and he's a great guy!

AMAZING – THE ABOSLUTE BEST TAILOR EVER. I HAD A VERY EXPENSIVE LEATHER JACKET THAT HAD A HUGE RIP ON THE ELBOW, JACK WORKED HIS MAGIC AND MADE THE TEAR DISAPPEAR. I WAS REALLY AMAZED AT HOW FAST AND REASONABLE HE WAS, TRULY THE BEST TAILOR OUT THERE.
