Jack is a pro! – I've brought broken zippers on delicately beaded tops, lots of pants that needed hemming, and difficult jackets with zippers on the sleeves that needed shortening. Jack is skilled enough to handle all of these so well, it looks like I bought them that way. I don't have to think about things; jack suggests where the pant cuff should be and explains why, but he let's me make the decision (I haven't ever gone wrong with going with Jack's recommendation). the best tailor in cambridge/boston – I am in my third year at Harvard and am originally from Italy from a family that has a discerning eye for these things - I have tried a few tailors and none quite were expert. With jack, the whole experience was perfect. he is extremely knowledagle about his craft, well skilled, and above all he has absolutely great customer service. he explaisn everything he is doing and will do and why, makes recommendations, but in the end will do whatever the customer asks of him. he has rushed suits... read more
Expert tailor – I have been going to Jack for over four years and he has never disappointed me. He is attentive to detail and has handled a range of tailoring projects: my wedding outfits to hemming work trousers. He works fast and, most importantly, he is honest about what he thinks is possible to tailor and what he feels isn't worth the money!
Jack provides excellent service – I have used Jack's service several times and have to say that he provides the best tailoring service around. He is great at tailoring clothes, provides fast and quality service and is always interesting if you want a chat while dropping off or picking up your clothes. I have not found a better place in Cambridge or Somerville, and will continue to use him.
Jacks the BEST – Jack's a life saver I've known him over 15 years and never once he let me down with any of my problems. Weather it was hemming pants,shorting sleeves or fitting in my suits perfectly.Always on time and great pricing.
Bring your problem clothing to him! – I've used the local chain drycleaning store for a little while, having them do simple tailoring jobs like hems, but I was never quite satisfied with the work. I'm practically obsessive-compulsive about the fit of my clothing and my proportions make it necessary to have many things tailored. Jack is a miracle worker! Great tailor – I bought 2 new shirts for interviews that were too large on me, and Jack transformed them so that they fit perfectly and look great. Jack is the first tailor I've ever used, and he patiently taught me everything I needed to know. He said he comes from a long line of tailors, and it shows in the quality of his work. The price was excellent, and Jack is a great guy who has excellent customer service. I'm looking forward to my next trip to Jack's.
Very Highly Recommended! – I went to Jack based on word of mouth when I had a rush tailoring "emergency." I needed three pairs of pants tailored to fit for a Thursday afternoon flight -- and I brought them in to Jack on Monday evening. Not ony did he set aside other work for me, but he had my pants ready by 4 pm Tuesday so that I even had time to get them dry cleaned before I left town. Shockingly awful – I went to Jack's because of his convenient location and high ratings. I expected to happily pay a premium for quality work. My experience at Jack's went like this. --"Can I bring in a suit on a Friday to be altered for Monday?" --"That's not enough time." --"If I went out of my way to bring it in two days earlier, could it be done?" --"I cannot guarantee it" --"So then, is there a chance it can be done?"
