Emerging from the alcoholic waves of post-Prohibition activity, Jack Fry's tavern opened up way back in 1933. Mr. Fry closed the original incarnation of the restaurant in 1972 and it changed hands for a few years until it re-opened with the same moniker in 1987. The new owner (a former waitress at old Jack's) still pays homage to the man with his old horse racing pictures and other sports memorabilia hanging on the walls. Best restaurant anywhere !!! It's a must stop for us every year on our travels!!! Warm Brie salad is the best!!!! Can't say enough about this restaurant! From the espresso to the dessert excellent!!!!

The dining experience was amazing, the spicy pan fried oysters with grits were out of this world! The salmon was spot on and the dessert topped it off. It was a great evening to celebrate a dear friends birthday!

Great hosts for a close friend's birthday dinner Friday night. It had been many years since visiting the restaurant and the service and food quality are still top notch! Atmosphere and individual attention from service personnel can make any occasion a little more special.
