I am very satisfied with the heat pump and air handler John installed. When John came out to look at the problem he asked me questions to determine my needs and priorities. I wanted a system that was reliable and affordable. He gave me several options and explained their respective performance and cost. He sent me a written estimate that same evening. I needed a 20 yr old system replaced in a rental TH after the compressor died...of course when it was 10 degrees and snow storm on the way. I had another contractor out to check out system and get it up and running on emergency heat - of course after 20 yrs, I knew I needed a new system. He gave me a quote. JW Windsor provided superior pricing on better equipment than the equipment quoted by the other contractors. The owner did not try to over sell me a super high efficiency and more expensive system with a bunch of gizmos. He explained that the age of my ductwork (poorly sealed and sizes) made my home a poor canidate for one of these systems. That if installed it would not function as efficiently as it should and would be noisy. Event though this review comes a year later, I feel it's necessary to express our experience with J.W. Windsor. John was very thorough in his assessment of our needs for a new HVAC system. He was helpful with getting us set-up for financing, and the turnaround time for installation was very fast. His technicians were professional and tidy. J W replaced both heat Pump/Air Handler/Thermostat systems. John pointed out that my existing Humidifier was originally installed incorrectly, and installed this existing system into the new equipment for no extra change. He and his crew are exceptional technicians and craftsmen. Overall, VERY PLEASED with the install.
