John came over to look at our roofing. He took photos the roofs, front and back. He provided a detailed separate estimates for front and back. The cost was reasonable so we accepted. The work was completed in two days, one for the front (slope and peak and front porch) and the following day for the flat roof in the back. Work crew was helpful and did a great job cleaning up. I have used J Stewart Roofing a few times and the people who work there are professional, efficient and friendly. Prices for various jobs were very fair. The one thing that I must emphasize is that they are HONEST. John came out because some shingles were missing on my roof and I asked him if the roof needed replacement. He said no...not many roofers would have said that! I strongly recommend them if you are having any problems with your roof. Mary

We hired J. Stewart to replace our roof back in 1998. We had no problems the entire time. But we could see it needed to be re-done especially as storms are getting worse. We needed new shingles and a new flat roof. Called them up and they provided photos of the flat roof (which obv we cannot see from the ground), an estimate, and a timeline. They did everything as promised, and we expect to be satisfied for at least another 25 years. I'm attaching before and after pics of the flat roof.

We are very happy with the work J.Stewart roofing completed on our home. Of the three companies I contacted for quotes, John was the only person that went up on the roof to assess the cause of the leak and provided solutions for prevention of this issue again in the future. The crew were respectful of our property and cleaned up after completion of the job leaving the yard looking better than they found it. I highly recommend John and his crew to do your roof. My neighbour recommended him and told me that he was the original roofer that did my house almost 18 years ago! We had a small leak in the winter, so his people came out to fix it until they were able to replace the roof in the spring. The leak was a hard one to find but they persisted and our roof was one of the first in the season for him to replace. J Stewart Roofing looked after this job very professionally and efficiently. Crew were conscientious about protecting my garden and house before stripping old shingles, and did a through job cleaning up once the job was complete.

We appreciated the before photos of the roof at the beginning of the work. The crew was respectful, hard working and efficient. The days were hot and humid but the crew maintained a steady work pace.The job was completed within the given time and the site was left in good order. We've used J. Stewart Roofing a couple of times over the past 20 years and have been incredibly impressed, and very happy with the work both times. Most recently J. Stewart Roofing replaced our flat roof, which was a fairly massive job as we don't believe the roof had been fully replaced for 50+ years.
