I recently had my car serviced at J and A Motors, and I couldn’t be more impressed. The team is incredibly professional and knowledgeable — they clearly know what they’re doing and take great pride in their work. Shoddy craftsmanship, lack of knowledge of cars, rip off are just a few words in my experience i can use to describe my experience here. I have a 2006 mercedes slk and ive been rinsed off my money telling me i need parts that i actually didnt, after an individual assessment and all the receipt records, ive been shown how they have only kept my car just to make money. Last Friday this mechanic promised me a “very good price” for a clutch repair — turns out his idea of “very good” is three times what any other reputable shop charges. No quote, just vague reassurances until I did my own homework and found out I was being taken for a ride. This isn't a misunderstanding — it's calculated. He relies on trust and then exploits it. And only accepts cash. A classic bait-you-with-a-smile, gouge-you-on-the-job operator. Watch your wallet — and your trust — around this guy.
