Only pick JA Barber if you are happy to hear the words "oh are you moving today? I'm in Leeds" on the morning of your house move, even if you were told by them as recently as the day before that they would be with you 8am the next morning. Chaos and so delayed our buyer couldn't move in on completion date. Left us with a mattress in our new home only 15 miles away and had to wait until the following day for the rest. We were offered a very small offer of compensation given the stress caused and no apology. Staggering

We used J A Barber removals for a house move and can only say we were very impressed! Arrived promptly and all staff were polite and friendly. Moved us in quick time and we wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I chose Barbers because I had an immediate response from a lovely lady called Julie. The same day I received a quote from them which was excellent. To cut a long story short, I had to change the date of the move, which was immediately accepted , without question. Julie was wonderful throughout. The men arrived on time, they were a great and friendly bunch and so very quick loading all of our things.
