I have always been treated very well there. Was there yesterday for a procedure and the nurses and the doctor were wonderful.
I love the hospital but their emergency department needs a major overhaul. You sit for hours in a room before a doctor sees you, they disappear and leave you sitting even longer. I froze to death in the er, thermostat set at 69 degrees, that's bullsh*t. Your in serious pain etc... or you wouldn't be in the er, you'd go see your family doctor. I do not recommend their emergency department at all
It was the worst ER I have ever been at. I do not know how they are still open. We were there 5 hours. The Dr didn't even come in until 2 and a half hours after he got there....all they want to do is give pain meds....I finally called the nurse after 30 minutes, she left the stat blood samples laying on the counter....unreal Gross negligence.

Extremely professional, amazing staff and the doctors and nurses in the ER were phenomenal. Courteous to my pain and ensured that I was comfortable the entire time.
They told my mom she had diabetes. When the medicine almost killed her then they said oops you have cancer. You have Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. After doing some serious testing and biopsies the test results came back she does not have cancer. They then decide that she has auto immune disease and began testing. The doctor even told us he never said it was cancer to begin with which was a lie we were told three separate occasions. Care has been good for my son that is getting treated. He was transported here from our small hospital 2.5 hrs away. Siblings can't sleep bedside of the patient and I have a breastfed baby with me. And we are on a tiny couch in a lightened cornered waiting room. Outside of ped unit. It's just a dumb rule! So I am not happy!
My mom taken with trouble breathing told us ct scan on chest good looks like little fluid nothing worry about. Lung dr called didnt like looks ct scan so put on antibotic and steriod. Next day back in er per lung dr order. This time stupid dr had talked about his plane, a train and how when get old things wear out. Said didnt agree with er nite b4 on her blood level being way to low. Different dr came in to admit was informed Ct from nite b4 showed pneaumonia in lung and infection in urine. Very sad
here 6 hrs and nobody seems to think this is bad just horrible
