Very Rude Staff And I Don't Ever Plan On Going Back To This Hospital! It Was A Horrible Experience And It Is Just As Bad As Methodist And Eskenazi Hospital! How There Could Be Such Heartless, Rude, Disrespectful Staff Work With The General Public Blows My Mind! Our Life Is Put In The Palm Of Their Hands For Them To Treat Their Patients Like Shit, It's Very Unacceptable! I Told The Charge Nurse The Issue And She Seemed Not To Care!
I was in this waiting room for 7.5 hours yesterday before I went back it was ridiculous the doctor and nurse in the back were nice but front staff was very hateful

My mom went by ambulance a couple of weeks ago to have stitches to her big toe. They said come back in 2 weeks to have them removed free of charge. I told the nurse at that time that the waiting area is always crazy to be seen. She said that she shouldn't have any wait when she comes back due to anyone can take them out. After waiting 1.5 hours I stopped a paramedic wheeling a patient out. I asked him if he could take the stitches out for her. He said he would see what he could do. Thank God he helped us. I went in to be seen due to a bad fall I had on the ice in my driveway and was in a lot of pain and was experiencing symptoms of a concussion and yet they saw dozens of people who came in after me and while I know that they see people according to acuity I waited over 3 hours and I finally had enough and left. I have to wonder how bad off does someone have to be to be seen in a reasonable amount of time? The staff was amazing with my daughter. Made her very comforter and we found out what was wrong very quickly. I'm used to spending hours upon hours at hospitals and we were there less than 3 hours found out what was wrong had a couple bags for iv and home we went.
Best hospital I never worked for. I have been going to IU for the past 2 years for most of my medical services. The hospital is always clean and smells good, the processes are always on point. I never have to wait too long for any service. And the people/associates/doctors/nurses/environmental services and food services everyone is professional, personable and courteous. My mom had major shoulder replacement & they were suppose to keep her at least 48 hrs. , ended up less than 24. We all know it's bc of her "Obama care insurance " they don't give a rat's ass about people, just $$$$. And the old hag who wheeled my mother to the car crashed into elevator, door frame of pharmacy 2xs, furniture inside the pharmacy, the door again leaving the pharmacy and on that one she grabbed my mother's SHOULDER! !
