My husband was taken to the ER by ambulance. As I dont live in Indiana, I dont know about his experience in that department. But when they put him in his room, the nurses and techs and dietary and social services were all excellent. My husband was treated with kindness and taken very good care of.Even the fire department that brought him to the hospital was very diligent on checking on my husband while he was in the hospital. I thank all of them for the care during my husband's stroke.
I was treated good I had my toe off Dr and staff was great
It was fine until a lady and her boyfriend or husband got to be seen before me even though I had been there waiting long before they ever got there and I didn't appreciate the nurse who was taking people back to be seen giving me an attitude when I asked her about it I go to the emergency room for fun I didn't feel good !!!!! Maybe the lady in charge of taking people back to be seen needs a retrain and made to understand it's not about her !!!!! Would give a five from past experiences but was there last night at 8:30 pm and didn't get into a room till about 1 am and didn't leave until 3 am. Once in a room everything was wonderful but, the waiting room was packed and they were doing intake and registry in front of everyone so people knew your business and gave u a bag with a cup to go pee in. It was my first experience with IU health. And made me feel very comfortable. Friendly staff as well
I am always treated with the utmost respect and receive outstanding care at all times. The staff are all very friendly.
It was horrible I sat in the waitress room for 6 hours waiting to b seen by a doctor I then asked what was taking so long and they couldn't give me answer so I left will not return
The non-medical staff that I dealt with in the ER (i.e. receptionist, social worker, housekeeping) were courteous, respectful, and professional. The medical staff I dealt with, however, were mostly unprofessional and rude. -Waiting room nurses engaged in idle chitchat, ignoring patients after calling for vitals, rude/sarcastic comments -Nurses disregarding patient complaints/concerns (i.e. continuing stitches without an effective general anesthetic) -One nurse stood out as being professional and courteous, went the extra mil... read more
