This family owned upscale Northern Italian restaurant near Bloomingdale, has been a neighborhood staple since the 1950s. The décor and atmosphere is classic Italian, the service warm and gracious and the menu features old-fashioned favorites like Pasta e Fagioli, Cappellini Primavera and Rigatoni alla Vodka. Appetizers include clams and prosciutto with melon. The seafood, beef, chicken and veal entrees are all wonderful. A house specialty is the Trippa alla Calabrese (honeycomb tripe braised in a light tomato sauce).

Been going there for over 35 years! Fantastic food!
First time at this Italian restaurant. Had soft shell crab which came with 3 crabs broiled in lemon and wine sauce accompanied by potatoes and veggies. OMG so good! My friends had spaghetti and meatballs for one and veal parmigiana with potatoes and veggies for the other. Great food NY prices!
