This family owned upscale Northern Italian restaurant near Bloomingdale, has been a neighborhood staple since the 1950s. The décor and atmosphere is classic Italian, the service warm and gracious and the menu features old-fashioned favorites like Pasta e Fagioli, Cappellini Primavera and Rigatoni alla Vodka. Appetizers include clams and prosciutto with melon. The seafood, beef, chicken and veal entrees are all wonderful. A house specialty is the Trippa alla Calabrese (honeycomb tripe braised in a light tomato sauce).

Courteous service, excellent food, and a pleasant atmosphere. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
My family has been visiting since @ 1963. Many family dinners and we have passed the love of the place on to the next generation who also love it. I always make time for a lunch or dinner when I am in NY.
What a way to celebrate my daughter 22nd birthday.. We just walked in , not knowing anything about the restaurant .. The staff sat us in our private dinning room. The service was excellent, and the food was fabulous! They even sang her happy birthday and provided us with complementary dessert and champagne.. AMAZING !!!
