This family owned upscale Northern Italian restaurant near Bloomingdale, has been a neighborhood staple since the 1950s. The décor and atmosphere is classic Italian, the service warm and gracious and the menu features old-fashioned favorites like Pasta e Fagioli, Cappellini Primavera and Rigatoni alla Vodka. Appetizers include clams and prosciutto with melon. The seafood, beef, chicken and veal entrees are all wonderful. A house specialty is the Trippa alla Calabrese (honeycomb tripe braised in a light tomato sauce).

Amazing food! Wonderful atmosphere! Great service! I highly recommend this place!
Had a fabulous meal here last night and met Donna, the lovely owner. She was very gracious and made us feel right at home. My friend and I split the linguini with clams and the penne with vodka sauce, my husband had the chicken parm and the girls had the spaghetti and meatballs. The food was outstanding - authentic Italian. Will definitely return next time we're in the city.
