This family owned upscale Northern Italian restaurant near Bloomingdale, has been a neighborhood staple since the 1950s. The décor and atmosphere is classic Italian, the service warm and gracious and the menu features old-fashioned favorites like Pasta e Fagioli, Cappellini Primavera and Rigatoni alla Vodka. Appetizers include clams and prosciutto with melon. The seafood, beef, chicken and veal entrees are all wonderful. A house specialty is the Trippa alla Calabrese (honeycomb tripe braised in a light tomato sauce).

Visiting from England and was recommended to eat here. The food was absolutely wonderful and the staff were so welcoming. Am visiting New York again in November and this restaurant is definitely on my list to visit again
