This family owned upscale Northern Italian restaurant near Bloomingdale, has been a neighborhood staple since the 1950s. The décor and atmosphere is classic Italian, the service warm and gracious and the menu features old-fashioned favorites like Pasta e Fagioli, Cappellini Primavera and Rigatoni alla Vodka. Appetizers include clams and prosciutto with melon. The seafood, beef, chicken and veal entrees are all wonderful. A house specialty is the Trippa alla Calabrese (honeycomb tripe braised in a light tomato sauce).

Went to the Isle of Capri for my wife's birthday for the third year in a row. The food here is amazing! The bracciole, carbonara, zucchini fritters & red sauce were all excellent- best we've had outside of Italy. The service is outstanding, Jane & David are the best! We look forward to our next visit, don't change a thing- you don't find too many of these authentic family owned restaurants anymore!!
