They have been very unhelpful. Just purchased a home and they are unable to find our mortage for payoff. Have been making multiple calls without any able to answer any questions.
My family has been banking with Investors for over 40+ yrs over 3 generations utilizing almost all of their services. Recently my 20 year old college student overdrafted and was charged over $400 in fees. Do Not Open An Account With Investors Bank! My family has been a customer with Investors Bank for over 20 years. When I was a child I remember going with my grandparents into what used to be called Investors Savings Bank in New Jersey and getting lollipops on Saturday mornings. Aside from the East Brunswick branch which is very well ran by Lilliana who is a true leader; all other branches, contact center run like a “ mad house” unprofessional , system is outdated and it takes more than normal time to get any issue resolved . Nothing is ever easy or runs smooth with this bank !!!
I used Investors because my bank's branch was shut down. I withdrew $200. My bank charged me $2. A third party bank charged me $2. Investors charged me $3. All in all that cost me $7 to withdraw $200, during a pandemic. A spokesman for Investors told me Investors had no control over my bank. No control over the third party bank. And when I asked about the $3 Investors charged me, the amount they do control, he said they wouldn't refund me the money. DO NOT BANK HERE!!! I am currently furloughed and couldn't get money into my account in time for an automatic bill payment (a day late) and these aholes still had the nerve to charge me an overdraft fee with a pandemic going on. I've had accounts here for 21 years now, rarely ever overdraft and they pull this. Already opened up a new account elsewhere and as soon as I can get my landlord to withdrawal from the new bank, I'll be closing everything here.
