During a visit to the ED my 16 year old daughter was poked with 5 needles in an attempt to collect blood for an unnecessary pregnancy test prior to a lung x-ray. This includes 2 times where the needle was removed from the skin and reused. Several members of the team then made my child feel guilty about not being able to give blood using "jokes" in bad taste. I have never had such a bad experience in an emergency department. The only redeemable person we encountered was the respiratory therapist.

Intermountain Alta View Hospital this has gone on for years. I had a sever back pain and went to your ED for care. The only thing they did for me was give me narcotics. I came in several times in a 10 day period. Then finally I began to loose my balance and my face began to droop. The doctors spent all day, hours and hours to finally get a neurologist in and diagnose me with GBS. I was sent to LDS where the treatment wasn't much better. My daughter came in on Monday for outpatient ankle surgery in the south surgical building. After surgery her oxygen levels would not stay up and her blood pressure would not stay down. Even though I'm sure they should've been off work hours earlier, her 2 nurses, Brooke and Cherilyn, were amazingly patient and kind with her until she was finally admitted into a room after 1:00 a.m. They made her experience so much better than it could've been. I wish I could save it I had a great experience but my experience was not ideal. Back in December of 2017 I was was having my very first baby and as every mother wishes and hopes for it to go just like they have always dreamed of this did not go as smooth. The delivery was excellent I had the best nurse and I love my Dr from that point on word after was hell. Worst Hospital Ever! Today I received bill for 1,147.00 I had nothing done! Did not have IV did not see Dr. waited for 2 hours nurse said she would be right there never came! Statement said ED visit level 3 $ 1,075.10 and edphy $71.91 What a Scam Insurance Fraud!

I love this Hospital. The nurses and staff always have treated me and my family so well through all the aches and pains and sicknesses and treatments. Has been like a small town neighborhood place to be taken care of.
