RecommendedDr. Russell Smith and his staff are amazing! I went to him with my first baby at 18 and him and his staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. 8 years later I went back to him with my 2nd despite living an hour away, it was well worth the 2hrs in the car for each appointment, he's just that great!
I'm scheduled for a procedure, I came in early, there's no one at the registration desk. been waiting for a while now, someone walks in and gets taken care of right away. i really don't know why my PCP sent me to this awful place. BYW, I'm still waiting.
Right now I don’t but maybe that will change. As of right now tho I doubt very much I would ever recommend or go there again!

I've had my own horrifying incident at Alta View Hospital, but stayed silent about it. However, a family member of mine has recently had an incident of their own that I won't stay silent about. My family member recently had an incident with a doctor at Alta View. They reported it to the hospital and the hospital issued an insincere apology but refused any further action. The staff at the Alta View ICU were absolutely incredible. They really care and want you to be as comfortable as can be. The doctors and surgeons are very knowledgeable and caring as well. I’m very impressed and glad to have people like them!
This amazing hospital has great tech and amazing care givers. I have no desire to visit any other hospital after my stay there this past week. Everyone was kind and thoughtful and made sure I had all the info I needed. During bad health experiences it’s nice to have a great facility to stay at.
I have ulcerative colitis and was a patient in 2009 and then again in 2010- for extended stays. The staff was always so great. If I had a concern, I felt like I was being heard. I'm glad I haven't had to return to be inpatient again but I definitely trust them and would recommend them!
