I can't recommend the product "IMI-1000" or the customer service enough. The device itself is excellent and has updated my BMW with Android auto excellently and the customer service I received when there was an issue with one of the pieces of kit sent was top notch! Wouldn't hesitate to use their kit and deal with them again for future vehicles
I have taken 10 months of wasted time buying the IMI 1000. Tried two android screens and didn't like the result with either one, both sat in boxes in my garage now! Tried a competitors version of the imi and it was garbage, sent back for refund. Finally bit the bullet and bought the IMI 1000. Carplay works well on Audi A6 C7. Great look and added new functionality to my car. Had small problem with config but was solved very quickly. Great aftersales support. Many thanks to all team in IA.
Fitted this into my VW RNS510 a few months back so having used it for that time I’ve learned to hate this system completely. The original RNS’ Bluetooth was always solid, no issues on startup at all. Now it’s become hit and miss mostly. The IMI doesn’t always start or it does start and you get no sound even though the track is playing on the phone. Brilliant product, integrated with the Audi Q3 system seamlessly. Very helpful and swift response via chat regarding adding a camera with respect to it's operation and compatibility. Very happy, and in my opinion, better value than paying to upgrade the oem sat nav to the latest year!!! Now I've got a system that will always remain current and operates like oem. A***
