I have a 2015 F22 M235i BMW with the iDrive 4 head unit and no Apple CarPlay. I was contemplating an MMI unit but ideally I wanted a more OEM solution. While trawling through Google I came across Integrated Automotive. Their iD4 to iD6 head unit upgrade was exactly what I wanted. I needed to replace my system in my 2017 Alfa Guilla. It took about an hour to install. Great system and great communication with the IA team. Highly recommended.
Scott was extremely helpful in providing with help and guidance in dealing with a very persistent problem of not been able to have the CarPlay menu appearing after I press the Menu button. I tried 4 units from various other manufacturers to connect with my BMW X6, F16 but to no avail, in some cases the CarPlay screen would appear then none of the apps would open so approaching this company was in essence nearing the end of trials. I don't think there is another company in the world that has better customer support. These guys are great. I have received help and support not only with installation, but also years after initial purchase with upgrade to a newer version. Everything was quick and easy. 10/10 would recommend.
