Unbelievably caring group of nurses and staff! Couldn’t have a better group of people to take care of patients’ needs. They wrap us up in warm blankets, cheery positive care and love.
I have been going to Sutter Davis Infusion Center for over a year. I have had nothing but the best nurses assist me. These individuals work hard, they are friendly, knowledgeable and extremely professional. Today I had Conchita, ( I sure hope I spelled it right) She was a superstar! I went in feeling very nervous over a new medication, (never Google infusion related reaction just before going in) Conchita assured me I would be fine, she had it all under control and she definitely did. Very disappointing. The lack of professionalism with policy and procedures.
Sutter Davis hospital cops out of a CT scan because a patient has rolling and collapsing veins (even before chemo). They insist the Infusion center has to do the CT scan. A simple requirement is to inject lidocaine in the arm, so the patient does not have to be stuck 3-4 to get an IV started. The infusion center refused to do this because they can't guarantee the IV will near the injection site. I love how people who aren't fighting a life-threatening disease makes a blanket policy that does not fit all patients. They are es... read more
