Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. 3 times I tried to hire a Luton van, 3 times they failed. I booked on line, I emailed, I phoned, I called in. 1st time they thought I booked a lwb van. Second time he said the Luton had not been returned. So again I had to make do with a lwb transit which despite being 3 years old had more warning dash lights working than the outside lights. Contacted the owner of Infinity last week to arrange to hire a van for a house move on the Saturday. Assured it was sorted and told us they would be there at 09.00 to collect on the Saturday. Nobody arrived, we phoned the mobile number and somebody different answered the phone who knew nothing about the van hire. Was told they would be with us in 20 minutes. We waited until 10.00. Absolutely awful experience here. Booked a van to move with. Turned up, and previous customer hadn't returned the van. Owner did nothing to try and sort it out. Thankfully hadn't paid. Avoid!
I bought a van of Ade (Infinity Vans Ltd) and it was a really positive experience initially. Ade delivered the van to me on the back of a flat bed albeit 2 days late and in the dark. He started it and the motor was running, I took it for a run up th motorway and that was the last time it worked. Before he drove off he promised to email me the warranty as he forgot to do so before leaving to deliver the van. Now he is uncontactable, no warranty and a non driveable van.
