I had heel pain for a year. Dr. Helms knew just what to do, and I am finally pain free! He's a great source of information for runners and athletes.
Dr. Higgins has been so awesome to work with. I've been putting off bunion surgery for a few years now but as a runner my foot pain was getting to be too much. Dr. Higgins was so patient in the process and very knowledgeable. I've never had any kind of surgery before but she explained everything perfectly and I had no problems trusting her 100%. My recovery is going very well (in my third week after surgery) and am so glad I found Indy Podiatry! :)
Dr. Helms is a "rockstar" when it comes to helping with foot pain. Ten years after my first bunion surgery that didn't heal well due to an un-conservative doctor, Dr. Helms corrected my bunion area and my foot is so much better! I even had less pain with this second bunion surgery than I did the first one. I'm being treated now for plantar fasciitis in the other foot and he was very encouraging that he could heal my foot so I could walk my dogs again pain-free. We have seen Dr. Helms several times for various issues. He and his staff have been attentive and responsive to our needs, including my most recent issue. I had bunion surgery in October. It went smoothly and Dr. Helms has followed my progress since then. I have been pleased with the care I've received and would highly recommend this medical group to anyone who needs this kind of care.
