RecommendedI had been to another Dr. since May 2018. I kept going back but my feet were still in pain. When I decided to look elsewhere I discovered Indy Podiatry. After my first visit my feet no longer hurt. Dr. Helms informed me I had chronic plantar fasciitis . He prescribed a prednisone and taped my foot. Gave me foot exercises to do which helped. After being in excruciating pain for 8 months, it took one visit to Indy Podiatry to relieve my pain. Definitely recommend Indy Podiatry.
RecommendedDoctor Helms was instrumental in my recovery from Plantar Fasciitis. As a long time runner, I wanted to get back to running as soon as possible, but by following his advice and care, I am now pain free and getting back to running after 4 months! Very grateful.
RecommendedMy primary care physician referred me to Dr. Helms. He and his staff are so professional, expert and friendly. He taped my foot the first visit and it was better right away when I walked out. Within just a few days following his instructions and exercises, the pain had reduced by over half. After months of suffering, the pain is now gone. Wish I would have known about him sooner!

RecommendedI was recommended to Dr. Helms after my sister-in-law went to him for similar issues. He is very knowledgable, confident and takes a non-aggressive approach giving options. The staff are all very friendly and make you feel comfortable and cared for. I will not use any other office for foot needs.

He knows how to treat his patients and get right down to the problem. My husband had him first as a podiatrist and loved him and now I’ve been having a foot ache. RecommendedI was very happy with the both bunion surgeries Dr. Helms performed. He is very professional and very caring and kept me informed as to what he would be doing during surgery. He was very encouraging throughout the recovery process as well.
