5 STARS 5th floor nurses, room 553, were great, shout out to Nadia, Chaka, Neal, Efrayim (student), Alice Miendak (volunteer), Dr Peter, just to name a few. They took great care of my dad and answered all of my 1001 questions without being short with the answers. Even when dad was a little bit of a smart alec to them, telling one of the nurses “I’ll tell you if my heart stops” another when he was asked if he knew why he was there having a heart cath he stated “for the fun of it”... telling them to “shut the door behind you s... read more

the care I received during an ER visit in September was fantastic. Great, caring staff. Kept us informed and moved everything along quickly. I can't say the same about the part about billing. Though my visit proved to be nothing serious the charges were astronomical. Calling the billing department the person there clearly did not care, could not provide any constructive information or explanation. It appears that my bill was not submitted properly to insurance by the hospital and that is my problem. I told the person that th... read more

worst hospital I have ever been to. their maternity ward was horrible. gave birth to my daughter in November. they do not have a NICU, which Is ridiculous. my daughter was born with some breathing issues and we stayed for an extra 2 nights for monitoring and when they couldn't figure It out and said they couldnt handle her and we weren't allowed to leave with her and had to get transported by ambulance to the children's hospital in Orlando. I now received a bill for over 1000 for the ambulance and when I disputed it was told... read more

I brought my son to this disgrace of a hospital with an allergic reaction. He was vomitting uncontrollably and had diarrhea. They sat us in the triage area surrounded by other people while my 4 year old is crying because people are watching him get sick. Then he broke out in hives from head to toe so bad that his lips were swelling and he said his fingers felt weird. And it took them 75 minutes to get him Benadryl!!!!!!!! Meanwhile there were grown adults with IVs for dehydration while my son waited 40 minutes for a CUP OF W... read more

Great place. Everyone I encountered was well-trained, kind, and informative. Dr. Gerald Nichols is too-notch and keeps up to date in his field. 5 stars for sure.

I was recently visiting my niece there that had her toes amputated that morning. She was in terrible pain. Took them forever to bring something. After she dropped the pill on the floor, the nurse asked if the 3 second rule applied. My niece, who is only 24 and has no medical training, said sure! I was appalled. BTW...she did get an infection and is back there just having her leg amputated below the knee.
