Best place to work! Best staff and great working environment
We have had a very unsettling experience with the hospital regarding our mother's care before we were able to get her into a local nursing home on May 10th. Although our mother is now comfortably settled at Palm Gardens Nursing Home, the entire hospital episode was totally mismanaged and jeopardized our mother’s health and life. We cannot believe this is an acceptable way to care for your patients and would hope that this was just a one-time occurrence. I have a card taped to my bc/bs card. It reads do not take me to Indian River Hospital. Melbourne or Ft Pierce hospitals only. When rescue checks my wallet hopefully my wishes will be followed. Dirty environment, rude nurses , never see doctors, just physician assistants. Wait forever...

This place is awful. A majority of the staff is extremely rude, the food is disgusting, and I have tried to get water for 4 hours, ridiculous!! Unfortunately, they are saying I need to stay another day I may leave against Doctors orders just to find a better hospital.

I just got home this morning. I was very pleased with my visit to the hospital for a procedure yesterday. I could not have had a better nurse named Jeanie that spent her day with me in the IR for my procedure. She is one of the best nurses ever.I told her she is spoiling me with her care and she said that is exactly what I am her for. Lauren, the nurse in room 564 was also very good.
