Your operators or whomever they are at your behavior health facility are absolutely awful. I simply gave a call to see if my girlfriend was there and I was met with disrespect and hostility and brash rudeness. I hope this isn’t how you treat your patients. 100% do not recommend this facility.
This hospital had zero resources for pediatric trauma care. Expect to be transported outside the region.
this is not my first visit to this Hospital it is about the Third the only reason I came was because it was the closest and my daughter was having an allergic reaction. my daughter is on a medication that has a risk of anaphylaxis when we went in this time my daughter was having an allergic reaction I had already given her Benadryl and once the nurse has done her vitals they stuck her in the waiting room for 30 minutes. I just left the emergency room and I'm disgusted. I was shuffled around and around. I explained all of my symptoms to 5 ppl. They picked up on certain ones and ignored others. They did an expensive CT scan , but not an exam and simple test that should of been done based off the symptoms they ignored. I left in the same condition that I arrived in. My entire journey, has been handled by the most competent, caring and professional people I have ever encountered -- from my surgeon to the hospital staff and cancer center. I feel very fortunate that I can manage every level of my care in Vero Beach.
Depending on your specific issue, this can be an excellent place to be. They are experts on joint work and other issues affecting older folks. I had a hip replacement and, I must say, the doctor was a true expert, the care staff is very good, friendly, and attentive. And the food is quite decent with a good selection to choose from.
