BEST INDIAN FOOD IN TOWN – I have been to all the indian restaurants all over town, and this one has to be the best. The service isn't fabulous, but the food is fresh and good. It isn't the best Indian food I have ever had at a restaurant, but it's definetly the best in pittsburgh. Skip all the other ones, and just come here to enjoy real indian cusine.
Good selection – The food is okay, but I don't think that it's the best. One good thing about India Garden is it has condiments, especially hot sauce. The food for the lunch buffet is already mild, due to trying to get more customers, so it's really good that they have hot sauce available, unlike the one on South Craig Street.
Half-price deal after 11pm is worth it – I've eaten here a number of times now, primarily because they have a half-price deal after 11pm. The half price doesn't include red meat or seafood dishes, but their chicken & veggie is pretty good. I do wish their spicy scale reached a bit higher though; even the max is not really spicy.
