Good Indian Food!!!! – The food was delicious! I do have to say that the service was a litlle spotty, and that the waiters were a bit rude. That is, however, how most of the employees in this resturaunt are. I know for a fact that most of them are high school dropouts, and are a bit ignorant. However, if you keep persisting, they will listen. Good food + good prices = :)
Good food, spotty service – India Garden is a good place to get Indian Food at all hours of the day. They have a very wide selection, tasty desserts, and occasional buffets and hours where many meals are at half price. Many of the things they have are also available at the Indian grocer next door for home cooking. As other reviewers have noted, at some hours they play indian music very loud, and one must actively grab the waiters' attention to get service beyond initially ordering one's meal.
Awesome weekend buffet – I have eaten here before, both the menu and the buffet during the week. The menu was great, the buffet wasn't the best, but I wanted to take my dh there so he could try Indian food. My plan was to get a single entre off the menu and share it for lunch and go to Pho Mien for dinner. The worst Indian restaurant in the Pittsburgh Area – My wife and I went for the lunch buffet. It was really small and none of the food was hot. I caution you not to choose any of the meat items, they are definately below health code temperature. We both felt sick later. They had a huge plate of pre-fried aps that should have been done in smaller batches so they weren't soggy. The food didn't taste fresh and wasn't very good besides being cold. Terrible service – I wish I had read these reviews before I decided to have lunch with a couple of close friends over there! The food was OK, but the service was teeeerible! The arrongance and rudeness of their waiters just simply damaged our appetite. I think I won't go there any more!!!!!

great food, great prices, fine service – I think the food here is great. The half off dinner special starts at 10 and it a great deal. They also have a wine special which the few times I've ordered it was a great bottle and very cheap. I've never had a problem with the service either. Once the young man serving us was really friendly and great, another time it was an older man who didn't "greet with a smile" but was plenty attentive and efficient. Worst Service Good Food – Its a pity really. The restaurant has good food. But the worst possible service imaginable. The waiters/bearers are downright rude and lackadaiscal in their service. And have no intention of providing service. The senior person has a serious attitude problem since when I complained on the lack of service, he is like staring at me and like " Oh! 15 mts is not enough waiting. We need more time to attend to you".... Worst possible service....
Terrible service – The food quality is not too bad, but the service is appalling and can almost be insulting. It may not be so for all customers though. Most of the staff is Indian and I think they take their Indian guests for granted.
