Literally the worst after sales known to any company I’ve ever dealt with in the 42 years of my existence If I could rate the service department zero stars I would. Unfortunately as jaguar engines are known to fail at the moment, you have to take it to dealerships for service or they try and blame you for the travesty that is modern day jaguar. I have a small imperfection in the rear diffuser trim on my F Type. I called Group 1 Preston for a price to supply and fit the part. I was told that in order to give me a price I’d need to book the car in for 1hr of diagnostics. I explained I don’t need anything diagnosed, and was met with a “computer says no” answer - apparently it’s their policy not to quote anything at all, however straightforward, without 1hr of diagnostics. I wouldn’t even leave a 1 star! Absolute incompetence from day one of purchasing this vehicle to the present day! Don’t go near!!!!!! Now Group 1 still full of incompetence and left with no option but to take legal action against them!
Booked to view two cars at 3pm Arrived at three and were told to sit on some sofas. No one came over. Got up at half three to ask what was going on with appointments, still no estimate of when we would be seen. Another ten minutes later the lead sales person tells us that both cars we came to see had already sold at 2pm. 40 minutes before we even left the house to drive to the dealership.
