HD is selling plants with Neoniconoids--which kill bees and birds. Neoniconoids have been banned in the European Union. This recently developed pesticide is systemic--not only do the plants they apply it on kill bees, anything propagated from their seeds does too. I've been recommending HD to friends, as they have a good collection of drought-tolerant plants. #HomeDepot won't give me a 5% discount if I use their credit card. They want me to go to #Lowes and get a credit card with them. Then! they will give me a 5% discount if I show my Lowes credit card. Is that not the stupidest thing you ever heard?
