While a tinello is generally thought of as a little dining room in Italy, this one is rather large, that pleases the crowd of older patrons who come here for excellent classic Northern Italian food without having to wait for a table. Seafood, pastas, veal and chicken dishes are all excellent; however, many patrons simply dispense with the menu and order what they want. This normally not much of a problem for the gracious staff. Jacket and tie are required at Il Tinello.

Wonderful iconic Italian atmosphere, you would expect to see Robert De Niro having dinner next to you. Food and service was awesome. A bit pricy but definitely worth it.
Outstanding service, friendly staff, and by the way the pasta and wine are outstanding. So is the lemoncello !
Just stumbled on this place looking for lunch at 2:30 PM. Great find and good timing too because they close between 3:00 and 5:00 PM. Superb ravioli, linguini with shrimp and scallops, and wine. Lucky us.
This restaurant was recommended by a friend and it did not disappoint. Old school Italian restaurant with several dishes prepared at your table. Service and food were over the top and the wine list is extensive and Devine. I will be back again and again.
Professional service and lots of showmanship performed at your table. Price is reasonable.
