While a tinello is generally thought of as a little dining room in Italy, this one is rather large, that pleases the crowd of older patrons who come here for excellent classic Northern Italian food without having to wait for a table. Seafood, pastas, veal and chicken dishes are all excellent; however, many patrons simply dispense with the menu and order what they want. This normally not much of a problem for the gracious staff. Jacket and tie are required at Il Tinello.

The most amazing place. Atmosphere, food, service....the works. Can't say enough about Il Tinello. Love, love, love this place.
Beautiful restaurant with impeccable service and food!!!
Introduced to this place by our friends. I must say it is an exceptional Italian restaurant! I had the fried whole sea bass and they fileted it right in front of me and asked if I wanted them to leave the delicious crispy skin. I opted to have them leave it cause my hubby loved it with his pasta dish! Highly recommend this place if you wu be in Manhattan, NYC!
My wife and I had dinner here tonight, and I loved it..Food, Servers, and atmosphere was great..I can't wait to go back..
