On a trip to Florence, Italy in 1983, Il Giardino founder Tony Gargiulo saw a wood burning oven and knew it would be the centerpiece for the soon-to-open restaurant. The first in Virginia, our oven serves up fresh focaccia bread and pizza to order. All of our delicious menu items are prepared with the freshest and highest quality ingredients we can find. Fabulous food and superb service! This is one ☝️of our most favorite places at the beach! Not to mention the elegant atmosphere!
Early NY eve dinner at our favorite restaurant for 25 years. Focaccia bread and fried calamari are the best. Veal Parm, seafood pasta, surf-n-turf (specials) were great and plentiful. Took leftovers and desserts home. Napolean is worth the trip alone. NY cheesecake and tiramisu are good too. We normally spend more $$$ here than other places because it's worth the price to us. Great ambiance. Josh was our server and he took good care of us.
Excellent service, food and atmosphere for over 30 years.
Excellent meal, as usual, and our waiter, Drake, was supreme! He handled our table of 20 like a champ, and without a single error!
