On a trip to Florence, Italy in 1983, Il Giardino founder Tony Gargiulo saw a wood burning oven and knew it would be the centerpiece for the soon-to-open restaurant. The first in Virginia, our oven serves up fresh focaccia bread and pizza to order. All of our delicious menu items are prepared with the freshest and highest quality ingredients we can find. Dinner was fabulous and our waiter, Steve, was fantastic. Great atmosphere and terrific staff.

Me and my wife ate Dinner here for her birthday, and we took advantage of the early Bird specials. The food was great, with great options, and the waiter was excellent, always asking if we needed anything! It was a special experience for me and my wife, and even a no charge desert for my wife with A Candle on it! We will be letting our friends know about this Wonderful Italian Restaurant!!!
Cant wait to get back , the veal chop was fabulous, wish i could have ate another one. John was my server and , great job.

This was our first time coming here and it was wonderful. Staff was excellent and so was the food, probably the best Italian food I've ever eaten!! Loved it!!
