I recently went to Ikea a few weeks ago and noticed 30.06 signs posted, banning fully verified and fully criminally background checked individuals from being able to carry a concealed handgun in their store (which I have done for years). This morning, IKEA failed, for the third time, to provide a service they claim to be able to provide. I bought a big, heavy, pain in the you know what to assemble piece from them in mid-October. I paid to have it both delivered and assembled. Delivery day came, and the truck arrived just at the end of the promised window. So far, so good. We've been waiting for a MONTH for our money back! One shelf was delivered damaged. The other one was missing shelves!!!! How is this an issue?? We finally got you guys to pick them up and now we wait... Have been waiting since then for our money back. If you'd like to contact me about this issue and resolve it promptly, please take me of of hold. The total time on hold from all of our efforts is just about 2 hrs and 17 minutes.

Not only it has bad customer service (slow and unresponsive) but also doesn't have accurate inventory counts when you check online. We live 1 hour away from Ikea thus check inventory before heading to store to avoid any "out of stock" surprises. We were going to buy a matress and, online said there were 13 pieces in stock; when we got to store inventory said there was only one but in reality there were none. Left store empty handed and lost 3 hours of our life. Thanks Ikea for making lose 3 valuable hours of our Sunday.

The IKEA in Frisco is very dishonest!!! Me and my uncle Roy Kendall went shopping at this location and upon entering the store my uncle asked how to get the free meal at the restaurant and the greeter told us after we eat and do our shopping the cashier would reimburse us for the meal. Well after we did our shopping and went to the cashier and gave the cashier our restaurant receipt we were than told that the free meal offer is only valid on the weekend. In the store now. Need 2 chairs. There are 15 in stock but not reachable. Trying to get 2 from showroom but it is requiring an act of God. Told to come back later when the chairs may or may not be available.

The store, especially on the weekends can be much like looking for a lost treasure in a ocean while swimming with sharks. However, I usually walk out with some piece of treasure that was worth the hassle. I am not a fan of the food, service or style. One of my all time favorite purchases is my closets system. Second favorite is my office suite.
