We purchased a truck in February from Hyundai of Louisville. The truck has yet to be placed in our name. We have contacted the dealership weekly in hopes to get the issue resolved and have not had any luck. They have not returned our calls time after time and all we are needing them to do is send info to our county clerk so we can resolve the issue ourselves. I was pleased with the process at first. However, after having a reputable third party inspect the car, it became apparent that some more work was needing to be done. That’s when the negotiating process took a turn for the worse. I was quoted an out the door price verbally and then later offered the same option but at $200 more via text. They became much less flexible and much more difficult to negotiate with. Of course, I heard the “I’m losing money on the deal” line as part of the process. Oh well. On to other options.
Hyundai makes decent cars if you buy them new with a 100,000 mile/10 year warranty but this Hyundai dealer in particular I would not recommend even a dumb pig to buy an used car here with an "extended warranty". These guys sell junk cars and the third party warranty they sell you is a scam. The service department here is also EXTREMELY, EXTREMELY shady and gives this place a bad name.
