We just returned from a WONDERFUL (albeit rainy) weekend at Lost Pines. Our original plans to head further south to float the river (with our 8 and 6 year old) were ruined because of excessive rain. Lost Pines ended up being the PERFECT resort to spend the last few days before school started. Forget the 1 star reviews! Clearly these people have never been to a mega Ritz Carlton and STILL had to wait for room service, or spent 48 hours at Great Wolf Lodge and had to deal with a facility that ONLY caters to children. Never had better service anywhere else. From the bellhop, front desk, restaurants, cleaning staff, wolfdancer golf course and staff, and maintenance folks.
We've spent 3 of the last 4 summer vacations here. Our boys, now 8 and 11 still get excited about coming back. It's very kid friendly. The staff is friendly. Very relaxing place.
Shout out to Alexis who made our stay special. We had a great time and love the fact that there are so many activities for kids. We look forward to our return stay.
Although I was just visiting to get information on wedding packages and such, I was not helped nor was I acknowledged. I had to ask the concierge for assistance after standing directly in front of her for a while. It was not the experience I was expecting considering I am trying to spend my money here! The land is beautiful, but the customer service was less than acceptable and in no way hospitable. Thank you, Hyatt Lost Pines for losing our reservation, hanging up on me twice, being on the phone for 2 hours just to get nowhere and lastly for trying to charge us an absurd amount for a new reservation!!! Lost Pines has been a favorite place for us since we have celebrated so much at this resort and we have referred so many friends here, but this is a turn off and we feel very disrespectful!
