Like the store itself but had a bad experience at lunch today at the Market Cafe. Brought in a sandwich from the hot food service line. Was told to seat myself. I sat down and waited for a server to bring me silverware. I waited 5 minutes and no one came to my table. had to get it myself. I wanted to order a drink to go with my meal...still no server to take my order. I sat there 30 minutes....I finished my meal and not once did a server come to my table. The produce is garage, bought some berries and the next day they were moldy (something like this happens everytime I get produce from this store). The rest of the store is fine.
Won't find anywhere else with friendler employees to buy your groceries at
Had a very nice teenage boy give my son a sucker tonight but, he wouldn't give it to him till he said please. which I was ok with! He then waited for a thank you. Glad this boy took his time to show my 3 year old the importance of manners. Have always loved this store for the friendliness of staff. Hyvee is our go to even when away from home.
We were at the store with our 3 yr old grandchild. From now on I will be going else where when we have her. Every time I turned around a worker was giving her candy. Then what broke the camels back is: I was paying for it and the bagger opened a sucker and gave it to her. NO ONE ASKED IF IT WAS OK. Well you know what. It was NOT ok...
