I requested a new PIN for my debt card because when they switched to a 4 number pin, it never registered it so I was unable to use my card. The same day I requested specific statements and copies of specific checks needed ASAP for my landlord otherwise face eviction. I took 35 days just to decide to gather statements and get them sent. They are theives . I deposited a business check into my personal account as I have done many times before. The 3 day hold released the funds then they with out any notice or reason took the money back out a large sum. I went to the branch they said you can't deposit business checks into a personal account which historically has been inaccurate i have for years. My Bank account was frozen after over 15 years banking with them. They said they needed me to take a survey or my account will remain closed. I reached out to my TCF Mortgage Loan Officer about an insurance check I received for my roof. The insurance company makes the mortgage company co-endorse large checks. The load officer told me I need to call the main number. We were transferred, put on hold, passed person to person to person for over 40 mins. One person told us to endorse the check and send it to PO Box in ********. I proceeded to ask her additional questions in which she was unable to answer after putting me on hold. I had a loan through Huntington Bank and noticed my principal amount fluctuating. I called customer service and they told me that it was because payments were made at different intervals. I always pay my payment the day the bill arrives, so I didn't understand how this was. They transferred me to the loan dept to explain it to me and the phone was cut off after 20 minutes. The customer service is one of the worst I have experienced and I would not recommend this business to anyone.

Takes over 30 minutes to answer a phone here and they started charging for paper statements without informing customers through their primary source of communication. I have my email for my primary way checked and they "apparently" mailed a notification to my parents address that they were charging for paper statements but did not say on app or through email. Since I haven't been using that account, charges were started to add up. Terrible service and just a scam to make more money off of us. They should have at least refund... read more
They cash checks and do not apply to the mortgage! Completely ilegal and messy operation to allow this to happen
