A little different to the normal pet visits, I had a very poorly hedgehog on a Saturday which the local rescue couldn't see to as no vet present at the time. Although it was a Saturday morning and short staffed both reception staff were very helpful and kind and vet Jo looked after the little soul, explaining to me the medication and wanted to give him a chance, so I then took him to the rescue for further treatment and found out it's a she so I have named her Veronica. 🤞She makes it thanks to Jo she stands a good chance x
Sadly, last Thursday 29th May, we had to make that decision we all hate, our ever faithful 15 year old Lab Lotte’s time had come. She was telling me, dad please help me. I called Huckleberry’s and made the appointment that morning, how the receptionist understood me I will never know, as I was a blubbering mess. We, Evie and I, took Lottie to them and I cannot praise the staff who assisted us enough. They gave us as much time as we wanted to say goodbye to our beloved Lotte, allowing us to stay with her to the end. Thank you... read more
