Husband bought a new gold bracelet for me for our 50th Wedding Anniversary this spring. The clasp broke after 3 months. I took it in and asked for a repair, replacement or refund. The lady said I had had it for more than thirty days, so nothing doing. If I had the bracelet for more than a year or so, and it broke, I might have accepted that, but when does an expensive item have a thirty day only warrenty.? Very disappointed with the service in this store, no returns no refunds, even if you ask nicely and point out you were miss-sold thank goodness for credit cards
I’ve been there a few times, and the service is generally very good from everyone except one bald guy. His service was terrible — he even threw the receipt at me when I asked for a signature. Really poor customer service.
We were curious to see how much a 10 year anniversary gift I bought my wife 8 years ago was valued at. 18kt white gold enternity ring with diamonds. To our surprised the lady offered to buy it for £80 she then also said real world value £100 if that. This is probably worth around 700 - 800 pounds. I'd recommend not going there. I walked away laughing as they seem to know very little or just con artists. Saying this if they are valuing items this badly you may fine some bargains in the widow. Don't pawn anything here.
First class service from the Eastleigh store. I was approached by Lauren, who explained they had a website. She helped find what I wanted and found the right one on their website, Lauren got it to the store for viewing before I purchased. I highly recommend them.
