I took some 22kt in looking to get it tested. Before getting it out I handed them a 5.7g 9ct ring to see what they would offer. They offered less than scrap value! £100. That’s 17.85 per gram. The spot price of 1 gram of 9kt today is 24.67. What made them think it would be ok to offer me 38.13 less then scrap value I’m unsure. That would equivalent the selling them a £10 note for £7. I have got a 22 carat gold,They said my 22 carat gold, this is 18 carat and 18 carat price will be paid. I never sold it, I bought the gold back because they lied to pay less money. I have the receipt of the gold I bought in Turkey. I have proof. I will never go there again, if you sell gold, know how many carats it is, otherwise they will deceive you and tell you less.
