Popped by last minute without a booking and Mark and his very friendly team came to look at the issue (during their lunch break). Diagnosed the problem quickly, and were creative in finding a quick and easy solution. Can’t recommend enough!
took car in for service, they completed an assessment and casually ignored the warning lights on dash. (especially when I told the receptionist before dropping my car off that I needed the tyre sensors and pressures looked at!) I feel like the team could have easily looked into it or mention this to me before booking my car in for a service that did not include this work, but no, I had to try and get a mechanic opinion when I arrived to collect my car after the work was done. I found HSR when I was looking for a local independent Volvo repairer to fix an ongoing problem with my XC70 relating to battery drain and a rear door that wouldn't open from the key fob. The required repair was a simple battery replacement and the car is now working properly again. The rear brake discs and pads were also replaced. I would have no hesitation in recommending HSR for an honest and friendly service at a sensible price.
