Dr. Alappatt corrected a torn retina and the outcome was fantastic. He has great staff that are very helpful. I would definitely recommend his practice for anyone needing a specialist.
Emergency Retina re-attachment, I give Dr. John J. Alappatt a five star {5 } highest rating and would refer him to my family and anyone else that needs retina care. His staff worked past their normal hours during the emergency pre exam then scheduled surgery the following afternoon. The surgery went long and his staff stayed late into the evening. I had the privilege of working for Dr. Alappatt as his scribe for a year before going to medical school. Now as a second year medical student who had shadowed other ophthalmologists, I can say that Dr. Alappatt is the best retina doctor in town. A lot of patients come in to get injections for diabetic retinopathy and wet macular degeneration.
